Every now and then I see a station wagon out there. I’d want the one based on the LTD if I were going to have one.

I’ve bought my last computer on wheels. The Tacoma is great but I don’t have a master’s in electronics, a fully equipped shop, a tractor trailer of tools/test gear, and the training to handle it.

Today my new white wagon spoke wheels for my Willys jeep showed up as well as a 90% complete CJ7 spare tire carrier for my CJ7.

For the price of the carrier, I couldn’t complain. It’s missing one hinge. The guy I bought it from thinks he might have one in some buckets of spare parts and scrap metal.

I’ll find one, make one, or get one made. That’s the price of fixing up old stuff and being super picky like me.

The first thing that I’m going to do is go to the Chevy dealership and buy a brand new loaded Corvette, so that I have something nice to go to the Ferrari dealer in.

Second, I’m going to buy a new ass, mine has a crack in it.

If you want something more entertaining than watching a bunch of numbers drawn seek out the movie Waking Ned Devine (1998). A comedy about the Irish lottery.

A man is sitting at the table with his wife and ask her what she would do if he won the lottery.

She replied, “take half the money and divorce you.”

He said, “I won $12 on the lottery yesterday. Here’s $6, keep in touch.”

May also want to get a signed “Non Disclosure Agreement” from anyone before you talk to them and pay them for their time.

I have an SUV that I liked 14 years ago, but it’s too high off the ground for me now. I still need something that I can fit three dogs into if necessary. I have no talent in fixing anything, other than plants I’m growing. :)

Quiet
Securely stash ticket (photos of you with ticket good idea - video too)
Hire very good estate planning/asset protection/international trust attorney
Make plans to no longer be in your home, if you are in a non private state
New phone number
New place to live for a time not held in your name
Attorney represents your trust to claim winnings
US trust folds winnings into Cook Islands Trust
Trust holds international LLCs
Assets in LLCs are managed in Switzerland by private banks
You are the trust protector
You are protected from lawsuits collecting
At your death, the trust has no connection to US tax system
Trust can get $ to you and to your other named trust beneficiaries
Be generous
Quiet

Franklin Graham will find something in the news, and then post about it on Facebook. Sometimes he gets across the Gospel more than others. The following I thought was a good message:

The media is calling it Lottery Mania! Mega Millions and Powerball are at record jackpot levels in the U.S.—crossing two billion dollars. But the odds of winning are minuscule.

I want to tell you about something that’s a SURE THING. Every person is going to die and face eternity—money and material things won’t matter at all. The most important question will be: What did you do with Jesus Christ? The answer to that determines where you will spend eternity.

You can know for sure today that you will spend eternity in Heaven, if you put your faith in Jesus Christ. If you believe that God sent His Son to earth where He was born, lived a sinless life, took our sins upon Himself and carried them to the Cross, where He was crucified, died, buried, and raised to life on the third day.

Turn to Him today in repentance and faith and accept this gift that lasts for eternity. The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

That gift is better than any jackpot you could ever imagine!

I think that I would indulge in a new hobby. I’d start a collection of the severed heads of those whom I believe wronged me in life...

My husband bought a few tickets on his way to the airport for a business trip. Hmmm... maybe I should have bought my own tickets :)

You win 1 million dollars.
If you choose instant payout it is automatically reducwd to $640,000.
Then taxes come. You now have $370,000.

Come April 15th you will be paying additional luxury tax ontop of that.

Only a few states allow the winner to be anonymous.

I live in Florida. If I win, they will plaster my name. I would go to Tallahassee right after the mid terms while the news cycle is busy.

Ok years ago I had to run an errand on the night of my 40th birthday.

On the way home I stopped for gas and bought a $5 scratcher.

My son was about 8 playing some game in the backseat.

I scratch it and have a winning number. Then, I scratch the amount and it didn’t process. There were too many digits.

I literally couldn’t process the number in my head. I had to look at the top of the ticket at the big font to see the jackpot amount, then my brain kicked in.

So I won the jackpot (150k) on my 40th birthday and the winning number was 40.

My son says all he remembers is me calmly saying “I think I just won a jackpot.”

My wife didn’t believe me. Even seeing the ticket she thought something was wrong with the ticket.

Now that was “only” 150k. After taxes it was a check for ~97k. We told one person, my mom, because she was our CPA.

I didn’t tell friends or family. We stuck it in our stock account and forgot about it - with the exception of buying whatever the best biggest flat screen I could get for watching football.

My wife just told her family last weekend because they were talking about mega millions.

Believe me: I cannot tell you how hard it was not to tell friends and family. And we didn’t win enough we’re we changed anything in our lives.

I simply cannot imagine what would happen with millions, even in a state that allows privacy. How do you keep working and keep up a facade of normalcy? Talk about short timer syndrome. How do you feel safe if you live anywhere near a city when your life is worth enough for family to kill you for?

Shoot I have kids in middle school and HS. What happens to their lives in a state where it is public info? It is a blessing, but it is more than a little terrifying.

Clinton??? Howard Hughes??? Stop thinking small-time and step it up to the real player level...Kennedy! Think of how many different branches and offshoots old Joe Kennedy’s bootlegging has supported for nearly a century. Throw in a few mistresses and their bastard children...then you’re talking real money!!

I would build my own high tech security force, buy a mega yacht, live on it, keep moving, and buy real estate, in every single state.
And then i would carry on like the character from Highway to Heaven, find the truly needy and worthy and give them a break in life, not too little, not too much.
