It seems we have been over this ground a few thousand times.
The ‘insurance policy’ was to get a FISA warrant on Carter Page to get into the records of Trump and especially his attorney Michael Cohen. This is how they are going to try to take Trump down, because they knew the Russia stuff was nonsense all along.
It was legal. Dems just want to keep it in the news and allow the media to cast doubt on it with their corrupt fake reports.
It’s only illegal if he used political funds for it - which he didn’t.
Even if he did - it’s not an impeachable offense.

I don’t know what tone this writer is striving for, but to me, the words “huddled’ and “crowded” make it sound like a fiction story or novel. If trying to sound objective or professional: FAIL. If trying to sound tabloidish and sensational: Yay.
