I attempted to friend a woman on FB. This woman and I had somewhat of a relationship more than 30 years ago. Her response was “I doubt you want to be my friend since I’m a bleeding heart liberal.”

I responded “I’m sure you’ve never been cursed and called names because you’re a liberal. I assure you it’s happened to me because I’m a conservative. But, you’re right I don’t want to be your friend. The first thing you said was poltiical and a back handed insult. Have a happy rest of your life.”
