IF rocks, fire bombs, etc. get thrown, I suspect they’ll be met with tear gas, rubber bullets, and whatever else they have in store for em. And IF it gets real bad, they’ll have to open fire with live ammo. The invaders will lose when the dust settles. IF they were smart, they’ll go back or take the generous asylum offer of Mexico. Why wouldn't you arrest them for violating your southern border and deport all of them.?
Trump has a lot riding of this and it could break him. Hell, the Dem house could impeach him for failure to safeguard our nation. The senate wouldn't convict but it would be there for any 2020 campaign.

According to the left...the caravan is seeking asylum due to the violence in their own countries, yet the left also argues that US has the highest rate of violence, specifically gun violence, racism, sexism etc.

That was the plan all along. The Soros funded organizers feared a backlash if this invasion had happened before the elections. Now with a Democrat controlled House, the hope is the invasion will provoke Trump to react and then this staged “atrocity” will be used as a reason for more hearings and impeachment.
No US commander will issue and order or real of engagement to fire on unarmed people climbing the wall or rushing traffic lanes.
