Just close the border down with the exception of legal commerce. Mexico has much more to lose than the USA. Keep the invasion on the Mexico side and they will help us solve the problem.

Just a factoid with those not that familiar with Tijuana. Many still think of it as a little border town but its population now equals that of San Diego: 1.4 million.
Correction current est. population of Tijuana: 1,641,570 plus 3,000 illegal aliens.
The mostly male caravan will suddenly morph into a mass of women and children at the head of the line, and likely some will actually get trampled. No better than terrorists who use women and children as human shields. I seriously doubt our troops will fire on women and children. The people organizing this outrage, will have a lot to answer for when they meet their Maker.

I think an issue I haven’t seen yet is, what side of the border are they on? Is there some type of de-militarized zone down there, like a 100yd buffer/neutral zone that the US and Mexico have agreed to?
If they’re on the “Mexican side” of the fence and we use force, of any kind on them(which I’m all in favor of and the more violent the better, as far as I’m concerned), are we using force against Mexico? Are we committing an act of war against Mexico?
Many will say that Mexicans, and the rest, do it every day. And I know that Border Patrol agents have been attacked and killed(Brian Terry, et al), but those were acts committed by illegal aliens/smugglers/coyotes, not Mexico/Mexican Police/Mexican military, in the sense that they were sent there to do that, by the Mexican government.
One can argue, me being one of them, that the Mexican government is complicit in the whole thing because they did nothing to stop these people from the beginning. Helped them by giving them safe passage through their country and that they should be held accountable. But, I’m just a guy. I’m not in the diplomacy business and do not know all the secrets.
Another side to the argument is, will any action the US takes to repel these savages be considered an aggressive action against a neighboring country?
Either way the President is screwed. They’re baiting him to do something or nothing. Unfortunately, there’s no infrastructure to support what is needed. But, if a couple of hundred thousand patriots showed up down there and volunteered to assist the US military, Border Patrol and Law Enforcement, I’m sure the savages would rethink their plans. Easy for them to want to storm the gates when their organizers are telling them that nothing will happen and that they’ll put the women and children up front. But, when they see a few thousand Americans on the other side that are not waiting there will blankets and lollipops, it might change a few minds.
Or, we could just round them up, bus them to the WHITEST, HIPSTERIST, RICHEST, LIBERAL neighborhoods in the country and drop them off the way obama ordered DHS to do. The liberals love them so much, let them take care of them.
If I really had my way, as soon as the leaders of the march are identified, as they lead the savages to the gate, they are quickly taken out by snipers. And any that try to step up, meet the same fate.

I would have no objection at all to stopping these invaders with lethal force - except that it would be counterproductive. Better to arrest them, charge them with the crimes they are on video committing in the process of illegal entry, and deport them with lifetime “do not return” orders. That way, America’s enemies on the left don’t get the issue they want, and we don’t get the parasites and criminals we don’t want.
