They started out in my neck of the woods. We always said they are named appropriately. Worse place to shop.
One of the daughters is a local dem politician. A$$hole. I have met her a few times, and I mean it sincerely.

Even back when I used to buy fishing gear at Dicks in Bridgeport, WV, the hunting-fishing dept. was a very small % of floor space. Golf, tennis, hiking, camping, indoor gym equip, clothing, shoes, etc. were far and away the majority of floor space. Seriously doubt the loss of ALL hunting and/or fishing sales will cause bankruptcy.

How come liberals never apply this to illegal aliens or jailing Hillary?
I went in my local Dicks a few weeks ago just to take a peek. The “sporting goods” were all shoved towards the back and probably 50-60% of the store was clothing, shoes, etc. Most of the clothes for sale were for marketed towards jogging, running, etc. not hiking, camping, hunting, etc.
I used to be a regular twice a month customer.
No more. Let em die!

You know, it would be really nice if you, or me, or anyone would actually tell these companies this when they take these kinds of actions rather than when their actions lead to the results you described.

Never been to Dick’s store. Never even seen one out here in the West. So no problem for me to boycott them.

Mr. Stack , the CEO of Dick’s, is a fool because once a customer leaves over a serious matter, they never come back. Out family hasn’t and won’t, nor will a lot of our friends.

This is why I quit shopping at Sports Authority...
