Actually, no. Words have meaning. The word, pimp, implies and requires some kind of remuneration.
If someone posts and links to a video without any personal compensation, then that is not pimping. Some people simply want to share information, unlike gadflys like you.
Stop abusing the English language.
What we really need is a new term for snotty, snarky, self-appointed hall monitors who have little, if anything, substantive to add to any conversation.
