I'm with you but Pats by 10. I think finally NE gets a non-nail-biter. We have wanted one for a long time, but then most will complain about the game being boring.

Many years ago when the Pats were up on the Colts by a lot, I said to myself 'well I hope this playoff game at least gets exciting.' I will never say that again.

Nail bitters? There was nothing better than watching them come back from a 28 to 3. That was the best game I have ever watched and I am only watching this Super Bowl because they are in it.

I think I phrased that ambiguously ... what I meant was a lot of Pats fans would love a non-nail-biter.

I was explaining to a friend from Kansas the other day that while it's great having the Pats be your team, there is a lot of responsibility that comes with it. It's true that you win a lot, but you DO go through a lot of HELL, especially the way they string out every important game.

It's not a complaint ... it's just a fact. Yes we have had 1 million units of jubilation. But we have had 900,000 units of pure suffering.

I must restate that I am NOT complaining. I am merely pointing out we win more than others, but we also SUFFER more on the way to winning. Nailbiters is a different suffering than just 'having a team that never makes it,' or once in 10 years loses to the Pats in a Super Bowl.

For example -> what team has suffered 3 super bowl losses? I guess maybe teh Bills did once? I don't know.

Pity us! For we suffer so much on the way to victory!

Maybe the best way to state it that back when they weren't that good, we didn't suffer much, we just didn't win much. Now we suffer much and win much.
