The game wasn't that exciting and there was only one touchdown. People might have been bored.

I did not watch the Super Bowl on television yesterday (I don't have cable TV). What I did was go to YouTube and I got onto a video stream of some Dolphins fan narrating the game. It actually ended up being rather fun. About 80 of us were on the stream and some of us were having a great conversation. This guy (just sitting on his couch) was doing a bang-up job of announcing play-by-play and giving analysis.
Most of us ended up sending him $5.

“People might have been bored. “
Which says a lot about society today-——action,action,action.
Some great games over the years have been low scoring, good defense games-——in all sports.

The game wasn't that exciting and there was only one touchdown. People might have been bored. I did not watch because I don't watch football any more. But when I was a football fan, I did not always care about the Super Bowl. If none of "my teams" were involved, I'd skip it, or just watch it halfheartedly. After the Astros were eliminated in the ALCS last year, I did not care about watching the World Series either. I've never understood why everybody has to watch a championship they don't necessarily care about.

I think the washed up Maroon5 guy crashed the ratings when he promised a kneeling festival. These people forget that it is largely the working White middle class that pays the bills for these palaces, and outrageous salaries.

In Boston the show premiering after the Super Bowl was shuttled off to a co-owned station; WBZ-4 stuck with post game coverage so the new show went to their CBS sister station, WSBK-38

Since the Kneelers took over, I have come to the point where I really could not care less.
I stand for our flag and the men and women who gave their all for this country. I make no apologies for that, either.

I got invited to a Super Bowl party, but I decided to stay home. I only watched the final few minutes of the game, but I spent most of the day reading. The NFL has no appeal to me anymore. I prefer watching college football and baseball with a smattering of the NHL during their playoffs!

Heh. Kneelenfreude.
Shove it up your Kaepernickhole, NFL.

Yep. I tuned out shortly after that. Gladys Knight is a national treasure and gave our anthem the dignity it deserves. As far as I’m concerned, it was all downhill from there.

I didn’t watch a minute of it.
And it seems as if I did not miss much.
