CWD has been in PA for at least a decade now first showing up in captive
deer that were brought in from out of state, I believe. I don't worry about it
too much as I butcher my own venison. Don't harvest visibly sick deer,
don't eat the internal organs and de-bone all of the meat and you'll be OK.
