Personally, I seriously doubt that Israel can be burning the weapons of Ezekiel 38 for fuel during the Great Tribulation. They are severely persecuted by the Antichrist during that time and (IMHO) the Remnant, the 1/3 from Zechariah 13, have fled to Petra.

And yet Irvin Baxter wants them to flee to Jerusalem because he misreads that passage. Of course he’s post-trib.
He also thinks the Two Witnesses appear in the Great Tribulation.
These are 3 of his biggest errors in regards to the Tribulation period (which is not mentioned by that name - some of us just use that term for what will be the 70th week, also not called that, but is part of the 70 weeks that are mentioned - for the thread).
1) Us western Christians don't give enough credit to Islam and/or the Ottoman Empire for being a possible big bad boy in our eschatology. But to the people who've lived in or near Jerusalem for the past 2,000 years, the OE was a bigger deal than the Roman Empire, English Empire, Nazis, or anything else us western Christians like to interpret as being the antichrist or beast, etc.
2) The desecration that causes desolation in Daniel 11 may be the building of the mosque on the Temple Mount in 688. Before that, the land Israel is in now was relatively flourishing vegetatively. But of all the peoples who've taken over Jerusalem during the past few thousand years, Muslims hold the honor of being the ones to literally gobble up all of the vegetation either themselves or with their livestock. Hence, the desolation (other cultures always left enough vegetation for it to reproduce for future food source). It wasn't until Israel came back as a nation that their horticultural nerds helped make it a flourishing nation again (at least the northern half or so).
3) The 1260 days (3.5 years in Daniel 12:7) might be best seen as 1260 years. And 1260 years after 688 comes to 1948 -- the year Israel became a nation again. I find that a good description of Daniel 12:7's "...finish shattering and crushing the power of the holy people".
4) The Daniel text then goes on to say that it'll be 1290 days of the abomination. My take: that's 30 more years after 1948 -- 1978. The year of the peace made with Egypt and basically and end to the Israel/Palestinian cold war.
5) Right after that (Daniel 12:12) it says how blessed/happy/fortunate (reading the Amplified version) are those who wait the full 1,335 days. So that's 45 more years -- 2023. (Or you could argue it begins in fall of 2022 since that's when the Jewish new year is.). It's not descriptive. But if I'm right of the meaning of the rest of chapter 12 (and tail end of chapter 11), then the context would mean it has to do with Jerusalem specifically. Maybe the Temple will be built again and worship of God resumed on the Temple Mount? I dunno. I hate to use this text alone to say it's the return of Jesus because nothing else in the context is about Christ. If anything the context is Temple related.
I will say that Muslims will supply foot-soldiers to the Antichrist and help in beheading people.
They will believe they are doing it for God. They will be in error.
Their core doctrine denies the deity of Christ. /preaching to the choir
The Third Temple will be built IMHO. I don’t presume to know how or by what circumstances. John is able to measure this future temple in Revelation 11.
This Third Temple must be completed and functioning for the Beast Antichrist to commit the abomination that causes desolation at 1,260 days after he confirms the covenant.
My dream has always been to visit Israel. One way or another, this life or New Jerusalem.

Yes, I would like to go. I might have had the chance many years ago. Wish I had done a couple of things differently.

Yes, that would be awesome. Safest place in the world, IMHO, during the Great Tribulation.
I have no doubt that we are close. The increased presence of the Holy Spirit on earth. The increased abilities or gifts from the presence of God’s Spirit. The increased ability to connect in prayers and meditation.
People don’t understand the frequencies of consciousness of the human soul. A low frequency thought like fear or anger heats up and explodes like a bug flying into an electronic bug zapper when it comes in contact with the higher frequency consciousness of the Holy Spirit or even Higher.
It’s like placing a dense object in the microwave. It heats up and catches on fire.
This is the basis for the concept of hell. It is the reason the weeds(Matthew 13) are now very afraid of global warming as they are afraid of being burned. It is happening, but not due to increased carbon.
The concept of being “raised up” in rapture is really being raised up in consciousness frequency. Our perception of reality is a function of the frequency of consciousness from which we view it. At higher frequencies, even human consciousness and the memories stored in people’s souls are physical to our perception.
Prayer and meditation are the best tools to raise consciousness. (This is best done by directing our Love toward God. Jesus’ commandment #1)
The next best tool is to find and remove the obstacles to Love within us so we can do a better job at raising our consciousness closer to God. (Thus Jesus’ commandment #2)

Yes, interesting. I watch Baxter as well every week. He used to teach years ago that the Rapture had to happen no later then 2017. Of course when that came to pass, I think he recently converted to post-trib.
But I do like to hear his prophecies according to his understanding. As they say, eat the meat, spit out the bone.
