The demon possessing the man became enraged by the cross on a man of God.
The man is in need of an exorcism and conversion. Without conversion he will simply fall under possession again with more and more powerful demons.
Psychologist B.F. Skinner created the idea of “operant conditioning”, that behavior could be trained. Like Ivan Pavlov and his dog. And this training can be personal, that is, you can train yourself to have a rigid response to a given stimuli.
So many leftists are carrying out operant conditioning on themselves, to reject things despised by the left, that they are starting to feel physical pain when they see them.
In this case, I call it “the vampire effect”. As with Count Dracula, who when he sees the Christian cross, he shies away with a hiss, cursing at whoever wields it. And it’s more and more the same response leftists are having.
Show a cross or Bible or anti-abortion sign, President Trump or a MAGA hat, and they lash out violently. And weirdly enough, as in *this* situation, they conflate different things.
That is, he sees an abbot with a Christian cross, so he assumes that the abbot is a Trump supporter, opposes the LGBTQP agenda and illegal aliens, etc., and so any attack on him is legitimate.
Remember this “vampire effect” the next time you see some frothing leftist, great or small, behaving irrationally and violently.
