Words aren’t actions
No he didn’t. Slate lies. Slate is #FakeNews. Have a nice day!
But she won't be able to stop her caucus. As the GEICO commercials say, it's what they do . . .
It’s very simple (a) no crime (collusion or coordination with Russia) had been committed, therefor (b) no attempt was being made to prevent discovery and prosecution of a non-existent crime, (c) therefor there is no activity that obstructed prosecution of justice, which would have prosecution of a non-existent crime.
That the president was upset of the entire witch hunt there is no doubt. As he was not trying to prevent discovery of a crime neither he nor his campaign officials committed, his personal comments about the investigation and the officials involved in it, in disparaging words, did not obstruct justice. Upset, yes clearly - obstructing justice, no.
They’re too busy screaming at the sky (again) to hear you.
“His [Mueller’s] investigation uncovered multiple attempts by the president to hamper his investigation into potential misconduct by Trump and his associates.”
That is a lie. How ever justified POTUS may have been in shutting down and obstructing Mueller’s investigation, he never did. Even if he discussed it on occasion, he ultimately let the investigation play out and encouraged his associates to cooperate with Mueller. The Mueller report makes this clear. The author is a liar, plain and simple.
19 Apr: The Intercept: Glenn Greenwald: Robert Mueller Did Not Merely Reject the Trump-Russia Conspiracy Theories. He Obliterated Them
The two-pronged conspiracy theory that has dominated U.S. political discourse for almost three years that (1) Trump, his family and his campaign conspired or coordinated with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election, and (2) Trump is beholden to Russian President Vladimir Putin was not merely rejected today by the final report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. It was obliterated: in an undeniable and definitive manner...
As Mueller himself concluded, a reasonable debate can be conducted on whether Trump tried to obstruct his investigation with corrupt intent. But even on the case of obstruction, the central point looms large over all of it: there was no underlying crime established for Trump to cover-up...
The sweeping Mueller investigation ended with zero indictments of zero Americans for conspiring with Russia over the 2016 election...
But the contempt in which the media and political class is held by so much of the U.S. population undoubtedly a leading factor that led to Trumps election in the first place will only continue to grow as a result, and deservedly so. People know they were scammed, that their politics was drowned for years by a hoax. And none of that will go away no matter how insulated media and political elites in Washington, northern Virginia, Brooklyn, and large West Coast cities keep themselves, and thus hear only in-group affirmation while blocking out all of that well-earned scorn.

Why not just take a page from the Jim Jones playbook and demand that all of your readers kill themselves?
Then why print them all for days and inevitably get a lot upset here.
if we are all so sure it’s not true, there’s no reason to print them
if the folks that post them DO HAVE FEAR, as i suspect, then that makes sense
Correct and additionally Trump never actually did anything. He may have uttered aggravated remarks about Mueller. But no William de Tracy or Reginald FitzUrse slew Mueller, did they?

John Solomon: Obama Administration Spying on Trump Began in January 2016 Evidence Is Coming (VIDEO)
by Jim Hoft
The Hills John Solomon joined Sean Hannity on the eve of the release of the full Mueller Report on Thursday.
Solomon told Sean Hannity that the spying on the Trump campaign began back in January 2016 and it was all run by the Obama White House.
Solomon added that more evidence will be released NEXT WEEK!
John Solomon: One text message has always stuck out in my mind And that is the text message from Peter Strzok to Lisa Page after coming out of one of the meetings And the text says, The White House is running this. I covered law enforcement for 30 years. The White House does not normally run counter intelligence for Justice Department investigations. That text remained in my head for a long time. And over the last few weeks Ive been reporting, I think Victoria (Toensing) in the last segment had something really important. She said January 1, 2017, there was at least one White House meeting. I think next week well be talking about a meeting one year earlier where the origins of the Trump collusion case begin. A whole year earlier.

18 Apr: Sara Carter: Muellers Report Ends WitchHunt But Whats About To Unfold Is The Real Story
What will unfold is investigation into what historians will consider one of the greatest political witch-hunts in U.S. history. If justice is served, those responsible will be outed and prosecuted...
America needs to heal first and foremost.
But in order to heal the American justice system, that is revered around the world, must act swiftly and with strength to hold those accountable for these actions and bring those who broke the law to justice...

“As he wrote in his report, Mueller only declined to indict the president because the Office of Legal Counsel, which provides legal advice to the executive branch, claimed that he could not.”
No, that is not what Mueller wrote in his report, or told the AG and DAG - and not what he will testify to Congress on TV (so don’t hang your hat on it).
Mueller discussed the opinion that a sitting President could not be indicted, but did NOT state that that was why he did not indict. Bottom line is that there was not evidence that could produce a conviction (the normal legal standard for prosecutors).
I guess this is what they will go with for a while - misrepresenting the facts.
Fake News.
When and will the hammer ever drop on all of these people? I travel a bit for my job, and have come across a Democrat or two who are weening themselves off the party kool-aid. I know its only anecdotal evidence, but not every registered RAT is a kook. Remember that several million of them voted for Trump in 2016 so not all RATs have both feet in the Dem Sheep Farm!
Pure comedy gold. Cue the snare drums.
Sheer insanity.
Right. He obstructed an investigation into a crime that wasn’t committed. Makes perfect sense to me.
...and that woman got her chief of staff declared her “attorney” so she couldn’t be interviewed or testify.
Discussing shutting down the investigation, nay, even THINKING about shutting it down, nay, just complaining about the investigation, is a crime.
