c-span.org main page should at least give 5 to 10 minutes free of their ‘Cspan1’ channel before requiring you sign in with your cable/sat subscription account #. Yep no longer truly free, at least on their pages, but lots of other international lo-res ‘free’ cspan streams still out on the the web.
I must have hooked into some of those of late.

no. they had the dinner on after Trumps rally. That was stated well before Trump rally even started, while they had some previously recorded Leon Panchetta interview on.
Some where above 10,000 inside; 67,000 tickets were requested!!! Next time he should rent Packer stadium.
And the biggest roar (other than his introduction) was when he mentioned Sarah Huckabee Sanders was there. It was so loud and cheers of “Sarah” so long, that he brought her up on stage to speak. And she spoke like she had prepared a speech - naming all the things he has accomplished and mentioning she was having a much better evening than last year at this time (when she was the butt of crude, hurtful jokes at the correspondent’s dinner). As the President’s spokesperson she is appreciated and loved as she has to face the angry, lying press all the time.
It hasn't been since Newt and the boys and the rancor was so Boston Minuteman-ish that they came up With the D, R and Independent line. What a bunch of school marm deep staters. The Trumpsters / Tea Partiers were there all along, that time they shut us up.

Yes he is. The CSPAN charter demands non partisan coverage of events in DC.

CPAN is funded, operated, and tasked by the Fed government to televise Fed government activities, ranging from House and Senate sessions, to committee meetings, to things like Presidential Rallies ... they don’t editorialize or comment or anything like that: they just point cameras and microphones ...

Exactly. I have A LOT of respect for her because Monday to Friday she has to face POS(s)/enemies of the republic whom I want to personally kick in the face..and she has the poise not to.
