6:30PM 4/27/19. Dinner time. CSPAN 1 televised President Trump speaking.
No camera showed the crowd.
7:00PM CSAN 1 televised the Correspondents’ Dinner.
Every camera showed the crowd constantly.
CSPAN and the media are enemies of American citizens. Of course, the journalists patted themselves on the back for being brave while standing up to the evil Trump. Of course, the journalists were clueless about what was happening with the President in Green Bay.
Sarah and her team seemed to love the rally tonight. I think that annual dinner is dead.
I just watched the WI Trump rally, from beginning to end, Trump is on FIRE and looking and sounding exceptional — on point and hilarious!
He’s hungry to bite the head off of his Democrat challenger, and spit it out.
I don't think that C-Span gets any government funding at all.
I watched the entire speech and I recommend everyone watch it. President Trump goes into great detail about the relevant issues. We find out, for instance, that 400 miles of new wall will be constructed by next year. Of areas with walls, they will be rehabilitated with rebuilds that will make them more secure. He goes into detail about why our economy is on a upward trajectory and more . . . Lots of good stuff.
After Panchetta interview, C-span carried the entire Trump rally. President Trump was masterful and it is a must watch.
I think Sarah Huckabee Sanders was quite surprised at the reception she got at that rally. She indeed was the queen of the ball. Trump was so happy for her, that he gave her kisses on both cheeks. It was tremendous.
Likely Trump’s best rally ever. Each one he does seems better than previous rallies.
He laid out the sorry state the US was in when he took office. He then touched on various elements like the economy, defense, border control, trade, taxes, jobs, etc., that have been improved since he has been POTUS. Support for Israel and the 2nd Amendment was also stressed.
The people in attendance were lovin’ it!
He added: “We’ve also seen the wisdom of our constitution at work, with a bold press, an independent judiciary, a rejuvenated congress providing checks on executive power. We are being tested but I like to think that decency will prevail.”
Chernow concluded the speech with a joke. “As we head into an election season, I leave you with one final gem from (Mark) Twain,” he said.
“Politicians and diapers must be changed often and for the same reason. Good night and God bless America.”

I like to think decency is prevailing as a rejuvenated
executive is providing checks on a bias’d press, an out of
control congress and judiciary...
I have several volumn’s of Cooper’s Works and as they
were written at a time when sail was comparable to
train and then air travel, the language is completely
nautical. Fortunately, I acquired a copy of Nautical
Terms under Sail, otherwise one would not have a
clue what was happening aboard ship.
Hard to read without it. The spoken grammar of that
period takes some getting used to also.
My favorite is The Crater, it would make a great movie
on the big screen. Ship wreck, survival, terraforming,
the intrusion of “civilization”, the absurdity of government
at one point the main characters are arguing about the
out of control federal budget of 125,000 dollars!
They created a paradise on a volcanic isle, then went
back to New England to bring a load of settlers, which
unfortunately contained some journalists and lawyers
and things went down hill from there.
They then returned to New England to bring their
families and when they reach the location,
the island has sunk back into the sea.
That dinner is not supposed to be a performance for a national audience. A Trump rally is.
