I’m confused.
The people got up and left without paying.
Photos are sent out of the group.
A friend of the group, comes in and pays their bill.
Is that the story?

In the article it says there was no dash. They lingered on the way out, kissed each other goodbye etc. No big thing, they just left before the bill came.
Practiced at the art of deception, oblivious to their responsibilities.
More than likely, the Friend who made it good was also of the same race.

Actually, it sounded rather expensive to me, but then again I’m used to the $6.99 Chinese buffet.

My son who delivers pizza part time sometimes complains to me that he rarely gets tips from blacks he delivers to.
My daughter in law who is a waitress says the same.
I suggest this solution: As soon as you place your order, you pay the bill. Then the food will be placed on the table and it will be paid for. Same thing that happens when you go to any fast food restaurant, either at the drive through or inside dining. Pay for food, get food.
I'm not, either. If it isn't presented promptly I ASK FOR IT.

This is kind of what a few of my family members did recently. My cousin and the rest of her family (big family) went to our small coastal town to visit and stay with her daughter that lives there. They all went to dinner at a local restaurant by the pier. Drank a lot and ate. Then they got in an argument with someone at the restaurant over the bill and walked out. The daughter that lives there wasn’t with them but is well known throughout the community because of the charity work she does and her regular job. The restaurant called her to tell her what her mother and the rest of them had done. Embarassed as all get out she went down to the restaurant and apologized and paid the bill. Then when the family showed back up at her place she told them what they had done was trashy and they had embarrassed her and they weren’t welcome at her house anymore. She has relented and lets her mother come now but refuses to let the rest of her family visit her home.
Good on her! sheesh
And people wonder why there’s prejudice.
Like Chris Rock said, there are black people and then there are n.....s.
