Found it:

I have no complaint if a good conservative blogger posts his own material to FR, not as an excerpt to drive hits and discussion back to his blog, but rather to impart useful information to OUR readers and to promote and join in on the discussion and conservative activism HERE on FR.

If a blogger can’t or refuses do that, and if he constantly complains or fights with our participants over it, then I’d just as soon he doesn’t post here. It’s not my job to make his content or his presentation or cooperation acceptable to our readers. That’s his job. And if he cannot do it or refuses to do it and continues posting brief excerpts only and obviously attempting to draw away our participants while loudly complaining about it, then I have no sympathy for his complaints and the more apt I am to ban his account and blog. - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2636843/posts?page=552#552

“Most new managers misunderstand what the job means. Most focus on the position’s rights and privileges—not its duties.”

Every Management job I’ve ever held, be it in the Army or in the Civilian World came with MASSIVE duties. There were PRIVILEGES? How did I miss THOSE? ;)

But, you LEAD by EXAMPLE. My Soldiers/EMPLOYEES SAW ME emptying the trash, cleaning the bathrooms, running to the bank (Oh, Joy!) working later than I had to, making sure they had the TOOLS they needed for any assigned tasks I gave them, be it a shovel, a well-oiled forklift or a Grenade Launcher. ;)

When your Soldiers/Staff SEE that YOU will go the extra mile for them, they will return the favor. You’re NOT going to garner their respect and trust by sitting in your office with your feet up on the desk barking orders!

Oh, and food always helps, LOL! I always made sure my troops were well fed and I always brought treats for my employees and we had a lot of fun pot luck lunches. I couldn’t PAY them what they were worth, so I fed them.

And I THANKED THEM on a daily basis for all of their hard work. We were a TEAM - we were all in this together to make it work. Those that didn’t, didn’t last long. ;)

As a teacher, this really strikes a chord, because "making" students today do anything is pretty much impossible. The teacher version of IJFT is "just kick them out" (of the classroom.) But you can't. The office will just "counsel them" briefly, and send them right back to you again, usually smirking. Or there's "I'll Just Flunk Them." They don't care. As long as they get to stay in your room and disrupt, and be defiant, nothing you can do, nothing, nothing, nothing, makes a dent in their attitude. "I'll Call Their Parents?" Their mom and her boyfriend, you mean? Well, Mom isn't answering her phone any more. Junior is your problem all day and she is grateful he's out of the house. She doesn't care if he kills you as long as she is not inconvenienced.

You just have to win them over, or die trying.

So what stopped you from posting your own material in full?

How will you make him do that?

A U.N. study group came up with that date of doom back in the fall of 2018.

That only happens if you select the excerpt option.

It’s the freaking web site where the article was printed! American Greatness. Not my personal anything other than I wrote it and convinced them to run it.

I’ll wait for your apology ;-)

I’ll give it a try next time since for at least a few of you going to American Greatness to read the dang thing seems to get your panties in a serious bundle.

I’d really rather get intellectual feedback rather than bitching about violating some supposed Freeper rule. If one can’t do that, then don’t read the damn thing.

Strong letter to follow ;-)

Where were you wanting this feedback?
Here or on your blog?

The answer to that might bear upon where the thing is posted, don't you think?

How jesuitical of you - trying to hang Jim's entire statement on the word "his". No sale.

Our manufacturing facility in the Philippines would hire entire extended families to work there. If any one screwed up the entire family would be fired. Nobody screwed up.

Back when NAFTA was being discussed, I talked with a guy who had a wall full of patent awards in food processing (invented a machine to segment those canned Mandarin oranges).

He invented a machine to de-stem strawberries without bruising them. The U.S. companies wanted to "look it over before buying", i.e. steal the idea. He went to Mexico and bombed there. He told of being in a large warehouse full of tables with 10-12 people of all ages at each one, busily de-stemming strawberries by hand.

The owner was pretty candid as to why he wouldn't buy the machine. He said it would cost more to wash down the machine after use than what it cost to pay the people there - about 200.

The manufacturer asked how that could be with all that cheap water available. The guy said that out of those dozen people at each table, he only paid about half of them. ??? The trick was that in order to get that job, the person had to supply a relative(s) who would work for free.

The manufacturer said that there was a catwalk around the interior, with a couple of guys with loudspeakers haranguing anyone they thought was too slow.

How the Hell can anybody compete with those situations?

I guess you express disapproval when Trump does it, too.

You're so very judgmental.

Sleepy low-energy tasteless breakfast Oatmeal.

Carry on, oh wayward Oatmeal.
