I went to Ravelry’s Twitter...they have #BlackLivesMatter and the gay pride flag posted in their account description. Tells you all you need to know that politics aren’t banned from their site, only certain politics.
You may not be interested in the culture war, but the culture war is interested in you.

This may come as a surprise, but WE ARE NOW THE AMERICAN CO, COUNTER-CULTURE.
We are close to being a vocal minority.
If Trump doesn’t win in 2020, we will become counter culture religion wise and politically or will disappear.
Hard to believe that people have become so crazy and vicious.

I can’t imagine the outcry if a conservative owner of a forum like that outlawed any reference to socialist or communist ideas/policies.
When we are thrown off of every platform and people can only hear the socialist totalitarians, the subsequent loss of our freedoms won't matter because we stood up for the only principle that mattered; Private ownership of public communications systems.
What is our lives and our freedoms compared to that?
