Looked like she’d been French kissed with a jackhammer!
No. She looked generally scared. Besides how was she to know an earthquake was about to hit?
Of course, the earth has had earthquakes since the beginning of time and lots of them, too. But all of a sudden, it is end times. I have heard and read that after every earthquake in my lifetime, so you can understand the skepticism.
It varies depending on where you are at.
Hmm,
she was jumping up and down, but the pic and chandelier were going side to side...
Not willing to tango with your ignorance tonight.
Piss off.
Lol.
Your credulity I wish I could say is charming. It’s not though.
Seismic Wave BehaviorEffect on Buildings
"The P wave, or primary wave, is the fastest of the three waves and the first detected by seismographs. They are able to move through both solid rock as well as through liquids. These are compressional or longitudinal waves that oscillate the ground back and forth along the direction of wave travel, in much the same way that sound waves (which are also compressional) move air back and forth as the waves travel from the sound source to a sound receiver. Compressional waves compress and expand matter as they move through it (Figure 2). Figure 1A shows that when a seismic wave comes from below, it bumps the house upward."
"S waves, or secondary waves, are the waves directly following the P waves.(snip) They travel about 1.7 times slower than P waves. Because liquids will not sustain shear stresses, S waves will not travel through liquids like water, molten rock, or the Earths outer core."
This is an account of the 1964 Anchorage quake effects. Read it and weep:
"Eighteen seconds after the first wave had flashed beneath them, the first of the massive secondary waves the side-to-side, up-and down motions which had chased the P waves through the eighty miles distance took hold of the Rustigan house, now groaning and straining, trying to keep up with its foundation, which was being yanked north, then south, then seemingly in all directions at once."
But I doubt you have the intelligence to digest facts.
It had to have been fake since you don't understand it.
“The source video was near the epicenter”
There is no documentation of this.
The video says nothing about where they are. I’d be less skeptical if such details were provided.
I’ll ask again, have you ever been a 7?
Did you feel this quake yesterday from any distance?
Funny but fake...an earthquake training video series:

Besides the duration and shake intensity were all wrong..I am closer to the epicenter than her supposed “L.A. location” and it was more rolling and less jolting.
nanny cam from 7.0 Alaska:

recent 6.4 California (first quake) nanny cam:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di9r-NbFT7Q
Of course no details on the above videos with regard to location from the epicenter.
The most recent one was a 7.1 quake at a depth of 10 miles.
I was in a 6.8 with a depth of 33 miles and about 60 miles away. Felt the sudden jolt of the p-wave and dropped under my desk. So a bit of a warning (like the Alaska nanny cam).
Kneeling on the basement concrete slab as the s-waves came in - with the concrete feeling like being on a floating device in a wavy ocean - just crazy how much it flexed! Knowing how long I waited for the s-waves to arrive I knew I was a bit away from the epicenter. And then feeling the motion and the length of time (45 seconds) - I was doing a lot of praying for those people close to the epicenter. (Only one death - heart attack.)
Had a few things fall off of tables upstairs, but not too bad. No damage to the house.
Have friends that were another 10 miles from me and farther away from the quake and they had lots of cracks in their walls (larger, more open design than our house) and also had springs of water open up and making issues with their yard and foundation (different soils than what we sit on).
So lots of variability.
With the lipstick video it seems too violent for a 7.1.
I would think it would have lasted longer.
I’m surprised she didn’t scream, especially knowing that she is on camera - although people react differently.
The camera stays VERY steady which seems odd if it is just a standard camera mounted on her screen.
The background “roar” of the quake - they aren’t tornadoes. That roar is probably my primary thing that makes me think it is fake.
Other than the hanging light, everything else seems to stop moving pretty suddenly - I would expect things to gradually die down as in the Alaska video.
I don’t know - but I’m on the more fake side of things with this video.
I guess we might find out. The news team caught up with the family in Alaska that escaped their house as seen on the nanny cam, and had an interesting interview with them.
I’m guessing a pretty gal trying to promote her fashion youtube blog would LOVE to get some free promotion and contact the news.
Dang - I wish I had seen your video before I wasted a bunch of time trying to be detective!
A good reminder to do a safety check of stuff around the house. After the one about 18 years ago I took care of some things. Of course have added some stuff, and I keep looking at the glass-framed pictures sitting on the bookshelf right by our bed and keep thinking “I should really move those somewhere else....”
Yeah, I was ready to believe when I hit “Play”, but then I saw the shaking and said to myself, either she is directly over the epicenter on China Lake NWS (no houses) or it is a good fake. It looks like she is directly over a 7.4 on the Richter.
Here in Seattle with the off-shore Cascadia quake, some models show it at a 9 magnitude and lasting for 5 minutes! The one I was in for 45 seconds seemed like a really long time!
I was in Nisqually 7.1 then downgraded to 6.9. FEMA came out with cash to get our well operational again. Have been in many 5’s.
It differs depending on depth, location and direction from ground zero, and other factors.
Thanks! LOL!
Well, I’ve been through 2 erfquakes, 8 hurricanes, and one worlds fair and that was the dangest thing I ever saw.
Love, Maj. Kong
