Wonder who the left thinks they are persuading to vote for them by equating patriotism and national pride with racism and white supremacy?

Excellent points. But this should be obvious to everyone already.

Truth, fact and/or history doesn’t matter to any of these “gimmedat” anti-American loons. To them, America always was, is and will forever be “racist”. Even if they were given a hundred year’s worth of “reparations”, it wouldn’t change a damn thing. They’d still be screaming and hollering for more. They can all go pound sand where the sun don’t shine.

They are persuading their own left wing base, of which there are a lot in this country. In sports, Colin Kaepernick is but one of them. Megan Rapinoe of Women’s Soccer is another.

What’s next ... George Washington was a war monger that abused King George III?

Supposedly Betsy Ross showed George Washington that it was easy to make a five-pointed star, but General Washington was no longer in the Continental Congress when the flag was adopted.

Apparently the legend about Betsy Ross making the first flag was first reported in 1870.

This information should be sent to Nike to expose the ignorance they have displayed to the world.

As we speak, the libs are destroying a mural dedicated to George in a San Francisco school.

Anyone who thought they would stop after they went after Confederate heroes was deluding themselves. They are out to destroy the Founding itself.

There is zero proof that the first American flag was of the “Betsy Ross” design. The earliest firmly documented rendition (circa 1778-79) has 3 horizontal rows, 5 over 3 over 5.

Supposedly Betsy Ross showed George Washington that it was easy to make a five-pointed star, but General Washington was no longer in the Continental Congress when the flag was adopted.

The complete Betsy Ross tale is likely an apocryphal story. There's no evidence that she met George Washington. Being an upholsterer, it's likely she did make flags, so the five pointed star story carries some weight.

Congress did not specify that particular flag. It only specified the general appearance. Another "official" flag of the time had alternating rows of three and two six pointed stars.

What Nike overlooks is that condemning a single flag of the United States condemns them all. They are all symbols of the Nation. This is why older flags are still flown next to our current banner.

I had this flag hand made about a decade ago. It is based upon a British solider's drawing of the American flag he saw flying during the "Siege of York" (Battle of Yorktown) in 1781.
