A “ploonet” would also meet the qualifications for being a “dwarf planet”. Why do we need two terms, and how can you tell for certain that a dwarf planet is not actually a former moon? Pluto could be a former moon for all we know. So could Ceres.

Why stop there? Earth, Venus, Mars, and Mercury could a be escaped moons of Saturn, cf David Talbot’s “Saturn Myth”

Yes and relative sizes of Alaska, Greenland, and Antarctica are well preserved.

Buckminster Fuller did a great job on the Dymaxion map, and so much more...

I’m starting to think astronomy as a science is becoming like modern gender studies, full of fluid definitions depending on how you feel. The problem is, we all feel differently. Who, then, are we forced to discriminate against? Those who whine the most, not those who know the most.

“The Moon is slowly creeping away from Earth at a very slow rate, and it’s possible that it will eventually enter a much less stable orbit and even go solo.”

This is undoubtedly caused by climate change.

Your history made enjoyable reading. Obviously you are proud of your standing in the technocratic community and your family's contribution to it.

One would think the accomplishments you listed would be solid enough ground to stand on without attacking someone of different beliefs with the presumed accusation in your closing line.

Don't you think introducing assumptions that add nothing to the evidence you offered makes it difficult to keep future replies to your argument within the lines of civility?

Where would you position yourself if the many investigations into the Jeffery Epstein pedophile ring start focusing on human/child sacrifice as the engine that drives technocracy? Would you think an assumption that you and your family approve pedophilia would be acceptable?

Would you care that someone might resort to a grade school tactic and use an unproven (but within the realm of plausibility) accusation in an attempt to besmirch you or would you not care what others might think?

Granted there is a galaxy (pardon the pun) of perceived difference between a flunkee and a pedophile but how many people would use their gift of discernment to recognize that?

There are said to be scientific instruments that measure the difference of impact on humans being called a trigonometry flunkee and another being called a pedophiliac used in psyche labs; is that the type of thing that enables a technocrat to feel and express superiority?

Inquiring minds and all that.

I didn’t ask for the jerk to start pestering me and I didn’t ask for it from you either. If putting up with useless idiots that glom onto me for whatever bizarre reason they think I’m interested in listening to their bullshit is civility then, I guess I’m not interested in civility.

As far as evidence goes, it’s impossible to address, “everything is fake,” without any him making any specific claims assertions isn’t something I can address.

And no, I’m not proud of my technocratic credentials because I’m not part of the technocracy, understanding technology does not make one technocratic, I would be a technocrat if I sought political power on the basis of my technological or scientific knowledge, but I really prefer to be left alone. That said, if making a moron think I’m a bogeyman part of some grand conspiracy makes said moron go away I’m all for implying that I’m “one of them.” Whomever the hell “them” is supposed to be. Now how do I make you go away?

Now how do I make you go away?

Write some more about your high school hobbies of making detailed observations of the orbits of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn.

My lack of response back to you is due to my good nature of not wanting to trigger you any further.

However, you are right about not being able to respond to “everything is fake” ... that NASA touches. I failed you, but then I just assumed no matter what I say, you will reject it now because you believe me to be an unworthy moron taking up your time.

There’s nothing worse than a True Believer, no matter the subject, finding out you been punked. I was a true believer in Space/NASA/Science (have my own b/w collection of the original 7), and that’s what makes this all the worse. You say your dad worked at the Houston Space Center, so maybe you saw this video awhile back. The quality is not that great, but why damn the messenger who tries to expose the lies?
