Get one from Palmetto State Armory. You cannot beat the quality for the price. About $300 for the kit and then about $50 for the Lower receiver and another $50 for the LPK. Buy several. I know I will come this fall.

Ya. How about 40 years for me. Just looking for something that can take the 5.56 pressures. I have been shooting 5.56 in my 223 for years and never knew that there might be an issue. Bought the cheapest ammo — sometimes 223 and sometimes 5.56.
Buy large calibre weapons with scopes, folks. The people that demand to rule you will eventually come for blood.

What is scary is their blatant disregard for civility and continuous ad hominem attacks. They are not calm about it, they are not quiet, they are not respectful. They are hateful and vicious and extremely aggressive.
Worst of all, they attack us openly and freely and act as if they are justified in calling someone racist and sexist when they themselves are racist and sexist.
They may not expect nor want a fight but by their actions and words, they are pushing us towards one.

At the end of the day, it comes down to force. They know it, and so do most of us. They feel froggy, well then, jump froggy, jump.
I read somewhere that, during the waning months of WWII, the Germans, knowing that they were losing the war, wished to surrender to the Americans and not the Russians. Clearly our culture and belief system our constitution made us a very generous people. I am proud of this fact.
When I see the leadership of the Democrat party viciously attacking fellow Americans, I am concerned, no convinced, that this country has lost its way and clearly its soul.
We have the largest gun company in Central Kentucky (probably the whole state) about 1/4 mile from Walmart that also has a state of the art indoor range. No one here gives a damn about Walmart ditching guns and ammo sales.

Don’t kid yourself. This is being driven by Trump’s and McConnell’s signaling their willingness to betray their voters. The Dems can’t induce panic buying when they hold the House but not the Senate or the Presidency.
Trump and McConnell are about to screw up.
5.56mm. Don’t listen to the “poodle shooter” claims. It’s a nearly ideal close quarters rifle cartridge.
