There was a recent picture of the “Mighty midget” that showed his shoes. They are unusually thick soled. It must bring him up to five foot tall. The “tough guy” brags about how he wants to punch Trump in the face. His body guards would have to hold a ladder.

The look Joker gives him after is kind of like Take THAT you fool. It is kind of proud of himself look. Phoenix has a lot of non verbal acting from the clips I Have seen.
He will probably be hanging on longer than Keith Richards.

The STD’s have festered in this man’s brain. What a piece of human garbage he has become. I could never re-watch any movie he has been in. He has always been a stone as an actor any way.
Both of the actors are short. No wonder he needs those shoes. It’s not easy to impersonate a tough guy when he is so vertically challenged. His foul mouth is part of his acting.
I never did like him.
Every time I see that photo of him in his 3 inch high platform shoes, I want to bust out laughing. What a loser. If I were his wife, I’d be embarrassed to be seen with him. I think he has a lot of talent as an actor, but there are precious few of his movies I will watch, because he’s such a jerk.
When it came out, I really liked Taxi Driver to the point of seeing it many, many times (before the Internet or even VCRs, it was the only way if you like a movie and wanted to see it again).
It was a gritty, surprising flick about an insane loner who stumbles into hero hood.
A lot like Di Nero’s life as an actor...
