So it looks like the Reagan Library will be ok.
Most are accidental causes.
Liberals are deeply saddened.
And that’s a fact.
Never, EVER inject sanity into a conversation about California. It just doesn’t work here.
. . . and California has an abundance of deranged psychopaths.
Prayers up for everyone's safety. It has been a few years since I visited there but seem to recall there was a good sized clear area around the facility, so hope it will be spared.
It’s too hard to rewrite history, and it takes too long. HEY! Lets just start a fore! Isnt that what happened to dad’s military history records?
Getting very close, many fire trucks there.Fire is out of control.Up to 407 acres burned so far.Planes can not fly but helicopters flying.
...And aided/abetted by environmentalists and left-wing politicians, who refuse to allow sane measures, such as clearing out the underbrush and dead trees/foliage. Dry conditions and high winds certainly make these fires more dangerous, but when there is massive amounts of underbrush for fuel, you get the situation that is on display in California every year.
The Reagan Library was built to withstand a wildfire no matter the size. There are fire doors throughout that close tight, and any artifacts that might burn (papers, etc) are locked in vaults. At least that’s the spokesperson was saying this morning on local news.
Why isnt there publicity as to what is igniting these fires. Yes, high winds spread flames but they dont ignite them.
Thanks Mods ((((Hugs))))
Can we redirect the fires to Chicago?

Loads of Firemen there. The fire is getting closer
Back in 2003 — October, I think — our back yard bordered on to the Reagan Library grounds and we were within about 15 minutes of mandatory evacuation. Then through the smoke we could see tons of water-dropping helicopters fly over headed to the Library.
The Library was between us and the fire, and we credit that with saving us. There are so many historical files there. Also, Air Force One had been delivered recently and was sitting outside between the fire and the Library because the plane’s pavilion hadn’t been delivered yet. Fires are so terrifying!!
Wow-Thank God.This link is live and showing the Reagan Library firefight on the grounds.

Here’s a map of the evacuation zone with power outages areas and such. We are a few miles south west, so far the winds are blowing more west than south.
