hi there frontiersman! (( think you look like one).. LOL
are you “home” for the season? Do you maintain a local home or just find something new each season?
I always appreciate your fun rally sharing.. you add a lot of fun and spunk to our threads and I am jealous in hoping you will be around a lot to amuse us (ME!) LOL
That is a gorgeous dining car you shared. My train experience has been limited. 5th grade to a train ride to state capitol - Columbus. In past couple decades volunteered in local Cuyahoga valley train experiences. Father’s day, wine/beer events/ etc. And OF COURSE my favorite.. several times on the narrow gauge Silverton train

The White House is reportedly exploring the idea of cutting middle income tax rates to 15 percent

FTA:
President Donald Trumps economic advisers have reportedly been looking at the possibility of cutting tax rates for middle-income earners to 15 percent, the Washington Post reported Tuesday.
The story which casts the reported tax discussions as an effort to counter criticism of Republicans 2017 tax cut as a giveaway to the wealthy cites multiple people involved in the matter and says the effort is being led by White House National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow.
Other ideas that have reportedly been discussed are a payroll tax cut, a change to capital gains taxes, or making savings tax-exempt, and reducing the overall number of tax brackets.
Kudow reportedly declined to comment to the newspaper about the specifics of what the administration is considering, but was asked about the reported rate cut on CNBC shortly after the story was published.
“The president has asked me to pursue something called ‘tax cuts 2.0,’” Kudlow told the outlet.
Dolly, Jenny is blessed to have your cooking and you are blessed to have a nice space for the night.
I too would relish a trip on rail in Grand early 1900 style.

That sounds like so much fun!
I don’t know if this has already been posted, but it’s a long thread by Glenn Beck regarding Ukraine.

What a great prayer! AMEN!
This is good news but only, of course, if we flip the House back to the Repub control.
I see a campaign issue here!
With the confirmation of White House attorney Steven Menashi to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, another federal appeals court has a majority of Republican-appointed judges.
Menashi, whose nomination was vehemently opposed by Democrats and civil rights groups, was confirmed by the Senate, 51-41. Republican Maine Sen. Susan Collins joined Democrats in opposing the 40-year-old’s nomination. The 2nd Circuit now has seven judges tapped by Republican presidents and six named by Democrats.
The 2nd Circuit is the second federal appeals court Trump has remade to have a majority of judges appointed by GOP presidents. In March, the president flipped the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals with the confirmation of Paul Matey.
Trump is also close to shifting the balance of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to majority Republican-appointed judges, with the Senate expected to vote on the nominations of Robert Luck and Barbara Lagoa in the coming days. He has also brought the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Senate Democrats took issue with Menashis past writings and unwillingness to answer questions about his work in the White House Counsels Office, including his role in developing the Trump administrations immigration policies, specifically family separations.
Trump, with the assistance of the GOP-controlled Senate, has seen tremendous success with remarking the federal courts since taking office. He has appointed more than 150 judges to the federal bench, including two Supreme Court justices and 46 appeals court judges.
Many of Trumps appointees are in their 40s and 50s, ensuring they will serve for decades to come.......edited.
