She forgot to add that if the 2 term limit for presidents is also abolished, she could become president for life by issuing an Executive Order implementing it.

The population of Los Angeles County alone would place it tenth in population behind only the states of California, Texas, Florida, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Georgia, and North Carolina.

OK, I will only agree to abolishing The Electoral College once Voter ID is implemented NATIONWIDE

You will need this ID to vote but this ID is also special

To vote, you will need the ID card + have your Iris & fingerprint scanned so no one can just get your ID card to vote

Once Voter ID is implemented, I will gladly go by Popular vote!

Nope, its not just about vote integrity, though that is important. Its about states representation and the compact in the original constitution that the states agreed to so that the big states could not just step all over the little states. The electoral college guaranteed that even the least populated states had some voice, and a few lesser populated states could work together to stand up to big population states. The Constitution would never have been ratified if the smaller states didn’t have that guaranteed representation.

I can think of at least 45 state legislatures that would approve.

Really? Only five state legislatures would vote for their state to remain relevant in Presidential elections? I can think of at least 20 who would reject such an idea—and all it takes is 13. All of those fly overs states with 3 to 7 EVs. Then there’s the problem of getting 2/3rds of the House and 2/3rds of the Senate to vote for the idea before it even gets to the states.

I know it can’t be done, but why would she even say it? In addition to being impossible it also seems politically stupid to promise it.

"Before her second Jail Term make more sense than her Second Presidential term."

It's not even likely to happen by her third term. Dances-with-Felons may have had a lot of dance partners by then.

“I want to get rid of it,’ Warren said of the electoral college....”

So make it happen, ol’ vinegar puss. Nothing to it.

Pleasepleaseplease let Fauxcahontas get the nod so she can face PDJT on the debate stage.

He’ll have Lieawatha going strawberry fields in the first minute.

If we decide to abolish the electoral college, 30 red states will probably secede.

But they could just vote against and that would be that. Can’t abolish without their votes. In practice it means can’t abolish.

I wonder if she is trying that thing where you say crazy things during primaries and then hope everybody forgets during general. Pretty sure that doesn’t work any more.

It would take at least 10 years, because it would have to be done my Constitutional amendment. Sorry, Princess Flapjaw.

All but one of the times when the "winner" of the popular vote had fewer electoral votes, he had less than 50% of the popular vote--that includes Gore in 2000 and the Hildabeast in 2016.

The only exception is Samuel Tilden in 1876, who got over 50%, but even that may have been because of ballot stuffing or voter suppression--there were a lot of irregularities in that election.

Gray Beaver’s cluelessness is breathtaking.

I can’t think of enough adjectives to accurately describe the mental world of sh*t she’s lives in.
