Two teachers from my HS, late 70’s are still married to their students they dated while in HS. A female classmate of mine started dating the the women’s basketball coach in her senior year 1979/80. Still married. He was 21 or 22 and she was 17/18.
During our senior year you would see her sitting next to him driving around town in his truck-bench seat days. Married 2 months after graduation.
200 times in one year? As a married guy I’m incredibly jealous.
An English teacher in my school got preggers by one of fling students and married him.
Still married, she was regularly boinking at least one 16 year old that I know of.
She got elected to the BOE later.
Now she runs the schools.

Although she did provide drinks on their first encounter, he was the aggressor. And then 100 times in one year... It could have been someone’s teenage daughter(s) instead. This woman provided a service to her community by keeping him too busy to start a high school VD epidemic.
The students themselves are also to blame. Many flirt with the teachers for conquest and/or manipulation and the teachers, with poor moral training or none at all, succumb to the attention and ultimate humiliation. Most of the students in public schools these days have little or no moral upbringing. Almost nothing....
(2001-2005, ~650 educators a year; and that's the ones who were sanctioned instead of the educrats and idiotcators covering it up. Think Unions, think state lobbyists, think the gay mafia, think young "empowererd" womyn.) Things have gotten worse since then in the schools.

There was an English teacher in my high school in the early 60s who had a relationship with one of her home room charges. She was suddenly gone from school. She was in her late 30s not glamorous but attractive and sexy. Never understood why she needed a 16yo just disappointed it was not me!
I’m married to a devout Catholic punk boy. The amount of covering up of the issue in the Church goes WAY beyond the public coverage of the teachers, which mostly is covered by FOIA rules. I guess you don’t think there’s any problem in the Church, is there?

High School teachers don’t hold themselves out as speaking for God, even if they believe in God. Religious leaders have a responsibility to be held to a higher standard or they should just get out of the role.
