Under USMCA, the pharmaceuticals affected are ones made from live cells. Currently Messico only allows 5 years of exclusive patent; Canada 8; the US 12. The Agreement will make that a universal 10 years of exclusivity (although some dems want to argue that down to 7). By law for several years already, Americans can order up to 3 months of rx at a time from Canadian pharms - including insulin. Just need a doctor’s rx they do verify. It’s saved me literally thousands on inhalers.
