Thanks, supports claim that Rogers was critical to the turnaround. He may not have known how critical his part was but it seems historical and I’m sure he thought he was merely doing his duty.
I hope Flynn gets an appeal leading to exoneration. Simply can’t let people like him suffer indefinitely. There are stories of WWII prisoners suffering for years but will pray Flynn’s torture is shortened and he’s recognized right alongside Rogers as the heroes they are.
I try to get a broad historical perspective. We’ve had spies in and out of government since the 18th century but this current culture of treason and deceit is not anything I have ever seen or imagined.
If I was to guess at what is the history prime mover for this, I would say it started when the Clintons came to town.
Bush II didn’t bother to crackdown even though the signs of sedition were evident when he moved into the WH. His time in the WH was one of inconsistent enforcement,. especially Wall St. knuckleheads. I turned on him.
But I would bet the metastasis of this traitor culture started with Obama and his Fundamental Transformation. It seems his team was hellbent on placing sleepers in every corner of government and its shadows.
Trump had a massive cleanup and turnaround challenge to take on. And he didn’t have to do it. Says all you need to know.

I agree about Rogers but Flynn has been a bumbling fool whose problems are entirely self inflicted. I realize that people have lied about him but he put himself in a position to be vulnerable.
