Matthews earned his bones as a suck-nuts for the old House Speaker Tip O’Neill back in the 80’s. He may have masked his bigotry for awhile in order to build some credibility, but he has been a die hard rat asshole his whole adult life. Make no mistake. If a diehard like Chris is smelling defeat and resigning himself to defeat in 2020, then all the sane and some of the insane within the Democratic party should be in full panic.

What that means is that the DNC Super Delegates are going to go full on cheating do anything to manage the Presidential candidate. Unfortunately they will manage that candidate into a quick defeat, but they don't trust the progressive wing.

I think Trump is making damned certain that this election not only produces the electoral votes for a second term, but also the majority of cast ballots to define a mandate and crush any claim of illegimacy by Democrats.

I think the democratic party heads already know they are losing traditionally reliable democrat votes amongst many demographics. The democratic party has been narrowed so much they now appear to be the voice of 1 demographic group. Lazy, Drug addicted sexual deviants who can't accept reality let alone Reaponsiblity.

Many union workers who spent years trying to regain meaningful employment and income remember which president told then to get use to it and which one told them to expect jobs soon.

I remember when Chris Matthews used to be more reasonable too. At one point he referred to Al Gore as the bathtub ring in the Clinton administration.

I think it was after 2000 that he started to go off the rails and the ascendancy of Fox News Channel grabbing ratings with O’Reilly and Hannity and Colmes in competing spots seemed to force him to shift left.
