the Heimlich?
= = =
Henry Judah Heimlich
That’s the problem.
My grandmother used to make a wonderful angel food cake. From what I’ve heard, they’re not easy to make, but she sure could
It looks kind of dry.
Needed to drink some Milk.
What, you blokes don’t have a plunger?
They need stricter Lamington Control.
Put an end to Lamington shows.
Consider doing a government Lamington buy back campaign.
A three day waiting period?....................
Yes, three day waiting period.
And background checks.
My first thought too. In an epileptic seizure though they can swallow their tongue which completely blocks the airway. That has to be fished out pronto or else an emergency tracheotomy with some kind of blade. I don’t know whether a massive bear hug/Heimlich squeeze would blow the tongue back out. You’ve only got a couple of minutes.
Mmmmmm. I should make one of those!!!
I’m getting the impression she didnt win the contest...”
Article 4 - Subsection 3.5 - Paragraph 22 of the guidebook for the International Association of Eating Contests clearly indicates that if you die or become incapacitated during the contest, you are credited with how much Lamington cake you did consume before expiring or involuntarily dropping out of the competition.
Article 4 - Subsection 3.5 - Paragraphs 23-27 explain the judges guidelines for stopping a competition in the event of contestant death or incapacitation.
Article 4 - Subsection 3.5 - Paragraph 27(b) indicates if the competition is not halted, the deceased or incapacitated contestant would be the winner only if their total food consumption is greater than that of any living or non-incapacitated contestant.
So in short, it’s possible she did win.
So yeah, there’s always a chance she did win.
Heck I’m amazed we don’t lose 4 or 5 every year at the Nathan’s Hot Dogs shebang.
What is the purpose of an eating competition? Seems stupid.
We have hot dog eating contests, pie eating contests, pepper eating contests, usually for charity.................
LOL!
Good list of notes.
Enough with the eating (and drinking) competitions!
I wonder what the ‘prize’ was?.....................
I’m sure the cake wasn’t “wafer thin”
it would be interesting to see her collect the prize if she won...
“It would be interesting to see her collect the prize if she won...”
Article 5 - Subsection 11.2 - Paragraphs 18-21 deal with prize distribution.
Article 5 - Subsection 27 - Paragraphs 3-9 deal with mediation of disputes over prize distribution.
