Some years ago I bought a glider and brought it back to Texas in its long trailer. The agent at the Sierra Blanca checkpoint asked me what was in the trailer? They see these trailers every day and know what is in them. I told him it was a glider that I had just bought. He then asked how much did you pay for it? I told him without hesitation and he waved me through the checkpoint without even looking in the trailer.
The conversation was just to see if I was nervous!
