Just an FYI : I read this article in detail and as it turns out they were trying to move 157 lbs of pot between Los Angeles and Louisiana but somehow strayed into Mexico and ended up facing a Border Patrol Checkpoint on their re-entrance into the US.

I’ve been researching it. It’s legal in Michigan now, and I have a problem with lack of appetite. I would give my left pinky if I could find something that would alleviate my neck and back pain.
Honestly, I tried it, but didn’t care for it. It just made me hyper and a bit anxious .I have a friend who suggested I try different strains, so I’ve been studying up. It’s very expensive.
I was a pot head during most of the 1970s. I thought I knew my stuff, but things are a lot different now....more complicated with all the strains.

So I’ve heard, I think the technical term for unpollinated female plants is sinsemilla. Female plants want to be pollinated, but all the male plants are removed so that they can’t. Females want to “get laid” so they produce more of the pungent stuff that attracts male plants. When they produce that stuff, they make more THC.
It appears that the max amount of THC a plant can produce is about 30%. I understand 20% THC buds, which are readily available are recommended only for the serious stoner/med user.
There is a store in Ann Arbor that had the strain Donald Trump on their menu. It was listed at 22% THC. I found that pretty funny.

I’ve tried the adhesive pain patches (lidocaine). Got some pain relief, but they made me nauseated.
I went to a pain specialist, and found out they shoot you up with corticosteroids. Steroids lower your body’s ability to fight fungal infections, and I’m already susceptible to those (long story)
I found out today my insurance will pay for 80% for a chiropractor so I just have to find a participating one. I will try that next.
I could try physical therapy, and I still may, but I’ve tried a number of stretching exercises, and they’re not helping.
CBD is available all over, even from the local video store. I wouldn’t rule those out yet, but I’m skeptical.
I’m not at all convinced marijuana would me with pain. I’ve researched a couple of dozen strains and user feedback tends to be about 30% who said they got pain relief. There were a couple strains that got positive pain relief reviews averaging more than 50%.
Right now, I’m getting most of my relief from a heating pad. It works great, but I don’t want to be sitting on my butt all day.
