Thank you for posting this first hand account. Unfortunately there are a couple here who will ignore it or even minimize Italy’s current situation.
That’s also assuming that in an untested population they correctly attributed all deaths. It also is not taking into account the time of the progression to death is slow while there is exponential growth in the number of new cases.

The outbreak is probably beginning earlier than it needed to, because many were panicking and hysterical about what could have been more temporary fluctuations in markets. Too bad, with only about a month before warmer weather.

Such BS. Nobody suggested every citizen in the US should have been tested at all, let alone in a week. But just look at the Biogen experience, they had exposure first to those coming down to symptoms and then those who had been diagnosed—and were refused tests.
The Dems and the media couldn’t have cared less when the China outbreak was going on. They were all impeachment, all the time for weeks on end.
