Very successful entrepreneur. If you were shooting a Hollywood film and needed to rent specialized production vehicles you went to see Lyle. RIP.

I honestly don’t know how he was able to keep straight face on Carol Burnett.

He was a great straight man on The Carol Burnett Show.

I saw him on a Carol Burnett tribute a few years ago and he looked frail then.

RIP, Lyle.

I still chuckle at the way Carol Burnett drooled over him.

Straight man is the hardest gig in show biz. You have to have the same comic timing, but you never get the laugh pay off.

I honestly don’t know how he was able to keep straight face on Carol Burnett.

In the skit where he is a downed pilot being interrogated by the Gestapo (Harvey and Tim), Tim broke him.

"Fee, fie, fiddly-aye oh..."

Comparable to Ginger Rogers. The same moves as Fred Astaire, but backwards. And in high heels...

Super Bummer.

RIP.

Love the 70's Wonder Woman Show.

He also auditioned for Batman for the 60's Batman Show.

I clicked the link and saw that Stuart Whitman passed as well. I loved watching him riding horseback.
