27th Amendment
No law varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened.

Although it was passed to keep them from giving themselves instant raises, it also works for pay cuts.

Quarantine CONGRE$$ and eliminate 75% of their pay. Eliminate 75% of all agencies and ngos and 100% pf ALL foreign aide forever. Great time to do/justify it. Surely pro-Americans will agree.

Big deal. A junior congress person makes about $170,000 a year. You can more or less live on that in the DC metro where tiny, crappy houses start at $700,000.

Men and women in congress from some of the poorest locations in the country are MULTI-MILLIONAIRES. How did they get that?

Do the math. Our congress is a bastion of evil thieves.

To withhold their pay you’d have to find out who’s paying them.

President Trump donates his Presidential salary to charity. He has lost about a billion dollars since becoming President. He left the luxurious life of a multibillionaire and risked EVERYTHING to save the USA and the American People.

He TOWERS intellectually AND MORALLY over those vile parasites of the Corrupt Establishment who prey on the American People and are interested only in "What's in it for me?" especially those who go to Washington with meager means and, within a few years, are millionaires with money laundering "charitable foundations," and over those who have attempted to destroy him to prevent the exposure of their crimes and corruption.

Everyone knows this.

The honest acknowledge it.

The benevolent give President Trump their full support--and appreciation.

THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP!
GOD BLESS YOU!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Yeah, I guess McSally is just too new to the game to realize that their salaries are completely insignificant in the game. Pocket change. Now if she could figure out how to cut off their graft, bribes and insider trading, she might be able to make a threat that would matter.

BFD. Theater - nothing more.

Senators don’t live on their salary. They live on all the perks of being a senator. It’s called corruption.

Joe Biden has never had a job. Yet he is worth millions. He didn’t acquire all that money from saving his senator’s salary and it’s always been pretty obvious he isn’t intelligent enough to earn it through astute investments. And it isn’t just the Rats. Most of the senators see their position as just a pathway to wealth and power.

And they don’t serve us, they rule us.

......Or maybe she realizes that, and is just grandstanding to get her name in the news and be a “Maverick” like McCain was.

With over 40 senators worth 8 million to 600 million how will this affect them?

Hawkeye Pierce would never have said that, he was a leftist Democrat.

There must be 535 self-funding Americans out of 330 MILLION and would do what’s best for their fellow citizens for a term or 2.

However, it (The 27th. Amendment) says nothing about the pay of congressional staffers. They don’t get paid until the crisis is over.

I can guarantee that if Nanzi and Chuckie have to answer their own telephones, make their own coffee, type their own letters, etc. the unlarded legislation would pass.

Congress is the house and Senate, two separate entities.
