I thought it was 6 months before 12/31/96?
I think the area included Western Europe. I lived in Germany from 77-81.
No more sucking squirrel heads?
Cajun stuff.
Knew one guy in the oil fields that did.
Something not quite right about him.
I was thinking of deep fried squirrel brains in Kentucky. Didn't know about Cajuns sucking them out of squirrel heads, only from crawdads.
My wife’s best friend was diagnosed with CJD in early January after experiencing numbness and tingling in her legs and feet starting in October.
She progressed rapidly, became disoriented, went into a coma, and died February 18. We were by her bedside when she was in a coma. Her sobbing husband had one last wish—that she could just sit up so he could hug her one last time. She never woke up. Although the Johns Hopkins’ CJD diagnosis is the best explanation for her symptoms, her husband has not told us the results of the autopsy. We suspect it is just too painful for him to speak of it.
If there are more feared diagnoses than CJD or any other of the TSE diseases, I don’t know what they are. It is certain death; it is unbearably progressively traumatizing; no-one recovers from it. My prayers rise up for all who come down with these horrible, tormenting diseases.
Something not quite right about him.
Better than huffing casing head gas.
The date seems right.
Same - I got back to the States 2 weeks after the cutoff date so i can’t donate blood either.
Is kuru disease about to wipe out the upper crust of the Democrat Party?
