Christ was talking about how the conditions for the “coming of the son of man” would be just like the days of Noah. It would be a prosperous time as well as a dangerous time. The days of Noah consisted of a world that was “full of violence” and people did evil constantly. Yet it was also a world of prosperity and wealth. There were ways a person could live well if one were careful.
The world may very well experience, before the dropping of God’s hammer, a false bubble of “peace and security” with tech seemingly promising to solve every problem” as well as a time of deep widespread decadence with the few who try to speak out against such evils being shouted down if not actively persecuted against. I see a general trend occurring where governments order private and public debt cancellations, a general Hebrew style debt jubilee(which may be a prelude to a harmonization of all currencies into a global currency). It would unleash much economic power at least in the short to intermediate term and just about everyone gets wealthy or at least makes a UBC possible for the under or non employable. Things will seem to be generally good...at least for a while....until judgment falls.
If the snatching away happens with societies completely open, too many will just disappear from sight and touch, seen by too many. What kind of lie will it take under those circumstances, for it to be believed, what an amazing delusion it will take to swallow a lie for what they actually saw and felt when the instant disappearance happens?

What is the place of origin for the bowls of wrath and wave after wave of judgment (Tribulation with a cap T) in the book of Revelation? Hint, hint...Satan does not rain down on Satan.
Your problem is not eschatology, your problem is ecclesiology. Your position has the First party of the Trinity raining down wrath on creatures who are covered in the blood of the Second member of the Trinity and indwelt by the Third member of the Trinity.

It’s anecdotal but when you speak to someone who doesn’t believe in a literal rapture(timing is another discussion) you can bring up what the demons are saying about it thru the new agers. The demons and Satan certainly believe a rapture is coming and they tremble because that means their time is short.
