Let’s take a look at what you mean by this statement. My initial impression is you don’t know what you’re talking about.

But that was isolated; it wasn't a case of mass stupidity. If I had to guess a close second it might be something like the Children's Crusade, but again, that was relatively isolated.
I supported some of the voluntary measures and some of the mandatory measures (locking down nursing homes) in order to flatten the curve. Now that the curve is flattened I support opening the economy, we need to attempt to resurrect the economy now that we have hospital capacity and plenty of ppe and other medical equipment. The policies of lockdown are now out of hand, too many forgot the original rationale, it's not to save every life, it was to be able to treat people and then take the foot off the neck of our economic engine, the people.
