I think it's more than that - other than him trolling.
I noticed that he rolls out his military service creds on his FR home page.
And then uses war deaths of the US since World War 2 to compare them to the COVID-19 mortality count.
As I noted prior, it does inform as to his character. It's more about him being right (and trolling). US war deaths are just props to that end.

Even our Karen-type mayor, who imposed worse restrictions than the state, said yesterday in an interview that even if there’s a second outbreak, people are never going to accept a shutdown again. Boy, you better believe it.
I think one of the reasons these riots are being spread so easily by Antifa is that people are really angry about the lockdown and really resentful and distrustful towards the authorities that enforced it. I recall that another Freeper said, when this thing kept being extended, that if it went to three months, there would be rioting, even if people didn’t know exactly why they were rioting. Everybody, black or white, is stressed and angry. Heck, even Floyd, although he had a bad past, had found a job a few years ago (bouncer!) and was living a relatively law abiding life - until they closed the bars and his job went away. He was so drunk he could barely stand when they dragged him out of the car.
And in the meantime, the cops had lost all respect because of their aggressive and at times brutal enforcement of Irrational lockdown orders against people doing ordinary things, such as sitting together on a park bench, going to church, etc. Top it off with people having lost all of their normal moderating social connections, and these riots became inevitable (just as it was inevitable that they’d be exploited by the Soros groups, which clearly were smart enough to have a plan in place).

Yes. Rioting beats mask wearing/social distancing. Maybe, during the next Michael Crichton-inspired dempanic, that’s what folks should do: when the overlords announce that their lock is coming down, the peoples’ bogey jumps up!

Some folks find death by rona more virtuous and noble than other mundane deaths. Those deaths are more equal than others. Living is for muggles. Dying of rona makes you a hero in their sad minds.
What are the odds there’ll be a drive for a big National Rona Monument when this is done? I’ll bet someone is angling to head up a big, money-flush, “not for profit” to push it. Remember, only the cool kids will have their names on the Great Rona Sun-Sphere—whether the rona really did them in or not.
I have some other thoughts about the coordinated riots, and I'm really surprised that store and business owners haven't already started defending their property (since the big blue city cops apparently will not).
Also noting that the CNN HQ got "attacked" by the miscreants in Atlanta. LOL
I see in other news the WHO says no need to wear masks again. They are trying to outdo the CDC in inconsistency
They do seem to be in some sort of competition, don't they.
Went to the gym yesterday. Everyone continues to practice social distancing for the most part. One customer - an older gentleman - wore a mask, and may have had a good reason to do so. I noticed that he didn't do any cardio either, else wise, the mask might well have hindered his breathing and Oxygen intake.
Question - if one for the antifa/BLM/commie protesters gets the COVID and dies, does it count as a US death? I mean, after all, they’re effectively denouncing their citizenship by attacking the country.
