I’m a Katrina survivor & remember how the insurance folks were hollering that the utter destruction, along a relatively small swath of the Gulf Coast, was straining their viability.
This destruction is nationwide & makes Katrina look like no big deal.
At the same time dialog must be opened on addressing the underlying issues that allowed these people to use this situation to their advantage. The dialog must be heard nation wide.
The national guard will need to be heavily activated in areas and disperse and detain any crowds who will not willingly leave the area. A spokesman respected by the black community should be appointed by President Trump to represent their interests for solutions. This person should be a person of faith.
The only time the looting will stop is when they steal everything and burn everything to ground level. They should get tired then and go home, if theirs is still upright. That is, providing they have some way to transport their loot and store it somewhere they can protect it from other looters that may like their booty. Then they will start shooting each other. And there won’t be any cops to break it up. Last one standing can claim victory...in their mind and for what?
