Good. Don’t

Ask them why the local Minneapolis authorities mostly black, from whom we have not heard a peep, did not fire this horrible cop with a very bad Record including other deaths.

Read David Horowitz from yesterday

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe he took the knee.

I know he had to apologize for standing by himself on the field, instead of hiding in the tunnel like the rest of his teammate.

“I’m gonna blame it on the media. The media is always trying to hyper focus things. Pit people against each other. The media is unbelievably divisive right now.”

Outstanding. The man has a career in politics if he wants one. Ha ha

I was speaking metaphorically. I should have been clearer. Hiding in the tunnel is a form taking a knee.

Submit. Great word. Isn’t that the literal translation of “islam”?

My boss’s boss sent out an email yesterday telling us to “support our Black colleagues.”

Most are paid more than me because of the color of their skin.

It sure does seem to be emanating from him.

Look, I live in a blue state, the bluest of them, and I don’t have any illusions.

But this stepped over a boundary to me, and the thing that is disturbing, is the same people who set up all kinds of boundaries for appropriate behavior would look at me as an alien were I to make an issue of it.

I wouldn’t hear a single voice that would say “I understand that point of view” but would instead, be branded a racist, social deviant, and troublemaker.

I have no problem getting that from the citizens of my state, I expect it. I never expected to have to think about getting that from a treasured employer.

But I lost something today.

Answer to the question “what the heck does an all-sports radio station talk about when all sports are shut down?”

When this stuff went down I stopped listening to sports radio. I 100% knew, perhaps with the exception of Clay Travis, all the hosts would be kneeling before BLM.

Not sure if it’s possible, but in your shoes I’d take PTO that day to not expose myself to the lunacy. I’m just a few years away from retirement myself, and am not starting over somewhere that might prove to be even worse so I understand your need to stay employed there.

I have been working from home, and they aren’t going to allow me back in until July now (yes...I live in one of those states)

I am lucky. They had prepared for this even before the virus became a thing, and my current job can be done offsite.

This company has treated me like gold. They have given me every opportunity to advance, and at one point when my position was being phased out, they simply created a new and better job position for me.

They value me, and they have shown it year after year.

This is the first time I have felt ashamed to work for them, and that is a lot for me.

One of my faults is loyalty...to a fault. So this is tough for me.

My friend, welcome to Cancel Culture.
If you refuse to participate you will be branded as part of the structural problem, then it will escalate to you being tagged as a racist and pack mentality takes over. You could be ‘ doxxed’, condemned and fired, Also your wife and family. It’s like Mao’s cultural revolution.

In my small town neighborhood facebook forum, the housewives and millenials turned Bolshevik have taken down and ruined 2 local businessmen and their families, in one week, one for supporting the equality of all lives, the other for calling looters “ animals” . They are being personally and professionally ruined. Both tried to apologize but sharks only smell more blood.

Stay safe, friend. They may make your silence a social offense, but they don’t own your soul. Eventually tough times will pass.

Thank you. I appreciate that post. I feel sometimes like I am living behind enemy lines, and I feel like the French Resistance who listened to short wave broadcasts from the Free World, only in my case, it is Free Republic!

I am already on a monthly, but it feels like time for another donation...:)

I wonder when the company I work for will do the same.

I will not be an "ally".

I will not kneel.

I will declare a hostile work environment.
