I gave up on the NFL a few years ago, and I was a football girl. I’m hoping this will be the kick in the butt my husband needs to get him to turn away.
To: NKP_Vet
NFL? What is that? Are they still playing football somewhere?

What systematic oppression? Blacks are favored over whites ALL THE TIME with affirmative action and voluntary AA by corporations who go out of their way to accommodate blacks.
And then there are the commercials on TV - you'd think this country is half black. The state farm ad had a white guy answering the phone at 3:00 a.m. and they changed it to a young black guy - exact same ad - they just took out the white guy and put in a black.
So once again - what systematic oppression?
That being said - I don't think what happened to George Floyd was right - despite the way he led his life.

The NFL can go to hell and take all their BLM terrorists with them. If they want to subsidize the Despicable Party and their butt boys fine.

So Rodger Goodell thinks NFL players have been oppressed? Black NFL players are oppressed black NFL fans are oppressed?
He is listening?
Is he just parroting back what someone told him to say? That speech of his seems so stilted and unnatural.
To: NKP_Vet
Goodell is oppressing his fans with his virtue signaling anti-white rhetoric.
The NFL is dead to me.

When they renewed that a-hole Goodells contract that was the last chance to save the NFL. They could have rid themselves of the leftist jerk and brought themselves back from the abyss. Instead they renewed it and gave him a raise.
To: NKP_Vet
Is this a reversal of their previous support FOR racism and the systematic oppression?

In my case I will not see any of it, just when I thought I may start watching a few games this stuff happens so screw it. I have watched one NFL game in three years and that was because it was on at a family reunion. I do not wear any NFL related items or buy their trash. I have advised my family not to buy me NFL gear for Christmas. Now, I am done. I enjoy soccer and so I will watch that until they start to take a knee and when they do, I am done with sports. Politics ruined the Olympics, then the Union destroyed Baseball, the NHL is next for the knee so what is left. I may start watching curling, from what I have seen they drop to a knee while curling so I will never know the difference.

There is systemic racism in America. I once watched all the Blacks on a National Football team take a knee when the National Anthem was played.
It was televised Nation Wide too.
Systemic Racism IS the Black “community”.

Very true. In shows where there are cases happening in a courtroom, the judge is most often a black woman.

The poor, oppressed NFL.
Only 70% black multimillionaires.
Maybe I’ll tune back in when they get it down to 13%.
Or just watch the Ivy League games.
