I remember every line of track I laid in my boomer yute....Even the ones I desperately tried to forget. Mostly the 10 at 2’s.
Did they cry in their safe space?
‘69 here. HS in the 80’s. College grad in early 90’s.
Gen X.
We got Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush II, Odumbass and DJT.
6ft. 200 lbs. Body builder type. Went to screaming “Call 911!!!” Help!!!”
It was pitiful.
Raised by their momma’s. Disrespecting their momma’s. When we grew up you run your mouth you better be ready to back it up. These punks just cry and run home to momma. Unless they are in a group. Then they think they are badasses. Got stabbed in the throat with a pen by one of his buddies when I was being pulled off of him. Coulda been bad but just superficial. Couldn’t talk for a few days. Bled a little. But that’s alright.
I also married a Boomer.
We don’t even speak the same language.
:D
Gopher it.
:D
They found out their student loans have to be repaid. They used student loan money for apartments, food, spring breaks in Florida, clothes, cars, and for tuition. They want to know where the next piles of free money are, and who’s going to hand it out? Right now the Soros and deep state backed “rent-a-riot” seem to be paying the best.
Hey what about us Gen X ers ? We never get it imagined her credit for anything
I know there werent that many of us but theres at least a few million of us out here about 50 years old
LOL! My kids 10 and 13 both say OK boomer to me all the time
Ha! What goes around, comes around!
I moved my parents from Michigan to Maryland to live with us when my Dad broke his hip, and my Mom could no longer drive due to eyesight.
First thing I did was charge them ‘rent’ - like they started the week after I graduated H.S. at 17!
Well, actually they insisted on helping out...
I was born in 1980, so I am either Gen-X or a Millennial. That being said, Gen-X talks a good game, but relative to the Boomers neither of those generations is as nearly accomplished.
I am not fool enough to suppose that when the Boomers are gone Gen-X or the Millennials will be able to fill the gap. Gen-X just doesn’t care and the Millennials are the Wokest generation. Boomers invented the technology that the next generations are so proud of saying they are able to use.
Baby Boomers are known for being technologically challenged and intolerant to change.
Right, we've seen and adapted to HARDLY any change at all.
</sarcasm>
We Gen Xers grew up in the 80s to mid 90s, which was such a great time to be alive: the music, the movies, Reagan, MTV, VCRs, the fall of the Soviet Union, the start of the Information Revolution. It was amazing.
Exactly. And I was just thinking: the first person I knew who had a computer at home was a retired minister friend, born about 1917, who had a TRS-80.
We Boomers have seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.-Replicant
“What are you ? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but the new community”.—Adolf Hitler, Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by Shirer...page 249.
Wow. Just what I was thinking!
I am an Xer, and my kids are Gen Z.
The Millennials I know are kids of the Boomers.
Ive seen ads for TikTok.
What imbeciles.
BS, Baby Boomers have been exposed to massive change and adjust just fine.
righto
as a tail end boomer....(i was a few weeks old when kennedy took a head shot in dallas)...I despise social media...except FR, of course.... :)
