Wow, that was almost but not quite as intelligent as saying every Black is a criminal.

They are supposedly ministers in the Baptist church, but never once reached out while my wife was dying of cancer.

That is sad to hear. Whatever their reason for being self-centered and insensitive, they were not true friends, sorry to say.

Sometimes a tragedy shows us who our true friends are.

As for the video, I just can't seem to dredge up sympathy for someone crying over an Egg McMuffin.

She shouldn't have filmed herself. That video will be used against her and other LEOs.

Maybe she had to wait long because she's a cop, or maybe she had to wait long for some other reason.

When I have to wait for an order and/or the order is wrong, or if someone gives me an attitude, I just get angry.

Of course, you never want to anger the cook and then risk eating that food, so I just say, "Look, I've been waiting too long. I need my money back."

However, she and all LEOs are under a great deal of pressure right now. Quite frankly, I don't know why they all continue to report to work every day.

Did you suffer due to a honest mistake or did you suffer from being a police officer having to deal with the scummiest of scum of society EVERY night and being vilified constantly for it?

An officer of the law should know better than to record themselves while in uniform.

As far as my Baptist friends, I will let the Good Lord worry about their issues. We did only good things for them, sold them a car dirt cheap, gave them furniture, and helped them out when their family members passed away.

I am content with what we did for them and choose not to harbor any bad thoughts. You can not change the past but direct your future and let the past go.

Just so as you know. My own family was not there or us either.

I let it go and re-established a relationship with my father for many reasons, mainly his new wife is dying of cancer as well. I try to make her happy and send pictures of my garden to make her smile.

I’m not a mind reader, and don’t speak your lingo. And no, I didn’t get what I ordered the last two times I went to McDonald’s and had to wait for it. I was a Correctional Sergeant for 25 years but never went through the drive-thru in uniform, but I still had to wait. Now I’m an old lady, and won’t be going back to any McDonald’s because their service sucks no matter who you are.

What’s an easy fix meal?

For me.

I get eggs from my three chickens and use one or two for breakfast with a bagel. Scrambled or fried.

Amen. We were told to comport ourselves so we would not shed bad light on the department...at any time, when we were on duty, and off.

Being retired gives me that opportunity to make myself a decent breakfast when I want it. I don’t do it every day, but I do whip up an omelette, or fried eggs with bacon, sausage, toast/muffin, and from time-to-time, fresh hash browns on top of the stove.

I grew up on an air force base and knew better than to cause trouble because it would would reflect back to my father.

Smile - I did date one of the Commanders daughters and my father got called in to report my conduct. I still saw her or a while but it was worth it for me. :)

She was pretty.

Working from home because of the China Virus allows me to get paid while checking on my girls and making breakfast.

My coffee is a little more expensive, but I really do not drink that much of it and the traffic in my house is not as bad as the Atlanta traffic outside.

So true... Took me a long time to reach that understanding myself.

I was amazed watching that. As a former cop, I never drove through any place to get chow. What does that girl expect? This is a bad patch for cops all over, just have to ride out the wave sorry to say.

Well every time i pull up to that drive thru window i usually almost always wait less than a minute for my Egg McMuffin and hash brown.
BUT i’m not a cop being shitted upon by almost half the country at the moment so i have no idea what their wait time is...

I’m not crapping on you M55 i’m just saying this woman and ALL cops have probably had a pretty bad week, and probably not looking forward to next week either...

O

I only drink about two cups of coffee a day. That’s all I make to go along with my breakfast. I like to grid my own beans, and get mine from a place in Shreveport, La. Been buying from them for years. Since I’m retired, I don’t usually go to be until 4 or 5 a.m. each day, then I’m up around 11 a.m. or a bit later. By the time I get around to making breakfast, it’s really Bruch, and on the days I have a big breakfast, I don’t eat anything else substantial the rest of the day.
