PLEASE! Newsom has no control in slowing down the investigation into the coup against President Trump. Barr even said in his interview that where investigations could continue despite the shutdowns they were continuing.

None of the shenanigans went down in California so Newsom isn't SQUAT in regards to that. None of the major players in the coup even live in California as far as I know.
Throw vote by mail at his feet, but not that.
To even entertain that idea is absurd in the extreme.
If you had named any of several East Coast governors you wouldn't have heard a thing from me.

On using his office to increase the death rates in his State...I agree.

JMO, YMMV

I believe the Deep State governors are coordinating to hold lockdown in place. This mean witness can decline to travel because of fears for their health, means grand juries can’t meet in court houses etc. There is a new link in the text at the top of the thread wherein Bill Barr explains this.

I saw the whole interview. I heard what he said.

I believe the Deep State governors are coordinating to hold lockdown in place.

I have no doubt that they are doing that and for a variety of reasons.
Stopping the coup investigations isn't high on their priority list, IMO.
They probably believe nothing will come from it (and I'm willing to bet that's what all of the coup plotters are telling them behind closed doors especially since "nothing has happened" so far) so why expend energy there.

I'm of the opinion that "The Waiting Game" will only last so long and then the hammer will drop, lockdown or no lockdown, and nothing these people will try to do will stop it from dropping.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe the coup investigations are key to them. They fear the public’s reaction to knowing they really were committing a coup. We must agree to disagree 188% :D
Exclusive: Maria Bartiromo interviews AG Barr on police reform, Big Tech censorship, Durham investigation
BARTIROMO: Has he been delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic?
BARR: There has been delay because of the pandemic. Yes, there has.
BARTIROMO: An inability to interview people?
BARR: Yes, not an inability, but a distinct slowing down of that process.
BARTIROMO: Because you can't gather a grand jury?
BARR: Well, I don't want to suggest there has been or is a grand jury.
But it is a fact that there have not been grand juries in virtually all districts for a long period of time. And, also, people have been reluctant to travel for interviews and things like that. So, it has slowed things down.
But there's -- he's been working where he can on other matters that aren't affected by the pandemic. But there has been an effect.
Yeah, I heard what he said. I listened carefully!
I read it even more carefully.
I agree. A minor quibble in the scale of things. {;^)
Something to remember though, they believe the lies they're being told and you can bet your bottom dollar they've been told they have nothing to worry about in regards to the coup investigations bringing anything to light (they've got their bases covered) so they continue to operate under that assumption and that's why I believe it is not in their wheelhouse of concerns.
Nothing was said about investigators traveling to where the person was and conducting the interview there. That would slow things down as well.
Just something to think about.
