Don’t sweat the neutrinos—they’re mostly like fairy dust. There are pions, kaons, muons, iron nuclei, and neutrons with more credence as the bad boys. Lead-polyethylene-boron composite is your friend.

That neutrino was travelling at 186,000 miles per second for 3.8 billion years, how many miles has it travelled?

These huge numbers are something else.

That link just now... 300 trillion times brighter than the Sun, presumably they are great big bunches of great big bright stars. Orrrr, they aren't as far away as believed. :^)
