I have one question: does that excess payroll tax include government employees and officials, including elected officials?

A self-serving poser. She became naturalized in 2000, elected to the City Council in 2013. Claimed she would live on a “working mans wage of $40,000 and donate the rest.
In the seven years on the board, living on a “working mans wage”, she has acquired a house valued between $800K-$900K, with an equity of $500K. Donations? She gives to some Socialist organization her husband belongs to.
We’ve all had it up to HERE with liberals fleeing their Hellholes and coming to your state and start electing the same imbeciles. How about these people who come here from another country and then try to tear ours down?

Bezos could have an international auction for a team of hit men.....
He would never get caught—and she would be very very dead.
Don’t be shocked if you hear that she committed suicide by shooting herself in the head—multiple times...

There are many beautiful suburbs in commuting distance to Detroit—Amazon could afford to build a beautiful and secure corporate HQ in the city with free transportation to and from the burbs...

In Today’s world the staff can work from anywhere remotely.
Its only the warehouse workers who need to be local. Probably plenty of them anywhere.
This stupid councilwoman doesn’t understand that.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Seattle unemployment rates will be after Amazon moves out. They can have fun paying unemployment to thousands out of work and see where the tax base disappear.

"...And if you, Jeff Bezos, want to drive that process forward by lashing out against us in our modest demands, then so be it..." For sub-human, bottom feeding scumbags like this woman, there is no such thing as a "modest demand"
Any "modest demand" simply results in more "modest demands" until there is nothing left to be given that they can issue a "modest demand" for.
Then, your country is named Venezuela.
Or, New York.

I dislike him too, but I have to admit seeing him shrug his shoulders and say "Okay. Lets build a new multi-billion dollar headquarters in some out of of the state locale. How do you like them apples, Kshama Sawant, you ignorant socialist harpy?" would be a lot of fun to behold.

Exactly.
Not a fan of Bezos, particularly when he virtue signals, but he can stay in the Seattle area, but outside the city limits, and Sawant cant touch him or his money.

The democRATS and liberals stated issues are never the issue.
The real issue is always their wet dream of a socialist revolution.
This socialist b*tch in Seattle is a most vile, radical revolutionary who thinks her socialist sh*t don't stink.

Oh, come on. Nikki Haley is not even close or anything like this radical revolutionary who sits of the communist city of Seattle's city council.
Haley is not for the violent overthrow of our government and free enterprise capitalist system.
