I don’t know if rump’s slump in the polls wasn’t simply the summer slump that are normal for R’s. With some recovery in the economy and some progress against the virus (even if only herd immunity), Trump should outperform 2016.
I’ve had the opportunity to talk with several CONSERVATIVE suburban white women this weekend. Most of them were convinced that all the “demonstrations” were over 6 weeks ago. I honestly cannot believe the ignorance of some of our people.
Those who live in the cities can’t help but know. Under normal circumstances, these women would have been going to the cities, but with COVID they’ve been staying in the burbs.
I believe this is the only outfit that showed Trump with a lead in PA and MI in 2016 - it showed a 1 point lead in both - pretty much accurate.
those are the ones I’m worried about. they’re trying to show their “wokeness”.

I live in North Carolina, no, but I am from Georgia. It is Trump Land.
After Charlie Daniels died, Cuomo listened to “The Devil went down to Georgia” and it gave him the inspiration to make the trip.
Georgia has 16 electoral votes, same as Michigan. This a big chunk !
(Biden's state, Delaware, has 3, by the way).

The only obstacle to a Trump Landslide is Democrat election/voter fraud.
Trump up by only 7 over Biden in the RED state of GA? Concerning, maybe. But it’s a poll.

I think there are a lot more quiet Trump supporters than the ones who are “shy” or afraid. There are many like me who have give up on trying to have a reasoned, civil conversation with Democrats.
It is the Trump haters who have changed - they are completely unhinged and not worth talking to.
I was an outspoken Trump supporter in 2015-2016 - now I don’t engage with them at all. It is a waste of breath.
I suspect there is a HUGE number of extremely motivated Trump voters out there who keep it to themselves because it is simply a waste of time and effort to do otherwise.
It is amazing how detached and clueless most suburban moms are. They are pretty much wrapped up with their kids, play dates, school activities, etc. That is why polls taken in the summer are fairly worthless. Most of these voters don’t start paying attention to the issues until mid September.

It is upsetting to run into these people, isn’t it? I live in FL, last election we TOLD THEM the Dem gov candidate was a strange, completely dishonest corrupt man (Gillum). The answer was, “I don’t CARE, TRUMP!!!!”
When they found Gillum lying unconscious, naked, in a pool of vomit (yes there is a picture and it is horrible) in a room with male prostitutes with crack none of them wanted to talk to me about it. But you can bet they’ll hear it if they say one word to me about Biden.
