Egypt presses on with new capital in the desert amid virus outbreak

Egypt is building a brand new Mediterranean paradise called New Alamein. Egypt's population is exploding. To help absorb this growth, it is constructing New Alamein: a city that will host 3 million people and cost over $60 billion. With its WW2 history and gold sand beaches, Egypt hopes the city will serve as a tourist hotspot, propelling the country into a bright future.

Egypt is constructing Galala City, a new mountaintop paradise, 80 miles southeast of Cairo, along the Red Sea. Galala City will help absorb Egypt's exploding population while also serving as a tourist destination. It will have incredible views of the Red Sea, include an Olympic village, many world class resorts, residential areas and many more projects!

Egypt is constructing New Mansoura city, a $3.5 billion, brand new megaproject along the Mediterranean Sea. The project will provide a new home for the growing populations of Mansoura and other northern delta cities. Eventually, it will have the capacity for 1.5 million people. New Mansoura is progressing quickly. However, whether it will ever fulfill the vision of its creators, we will have to wait and see.
